One of the biggest trends in cakes, especially wedding cakes, at the moment is the drip cake.

Essentially they’re a mouth-watering twist on a traditional cake, but are decorated in a way to make you drool.

A drip cake is usually covered in fondant, dirty iced, soft iced or left naked and is finished off with a layer of dripping chocolate, caramel or a coloured ganache running down the sides. Then you can decorate it with pretty much anything.

Here’s some inspo we’ve rounded up.
