A parody video made by a US-based wedding photography business highlighting why unplugged weddings are a good idea is blowing up Facebook.

The video by SLF Weddings gives a series of examples of how guests with DSLR cameras, smartphones and even iPads (yes, iPads) can get in the way of the professional photographers who are being paid to capture the wedding on behalf of the bride and groom.

Not only do guests interfere with the professionals’ ability to capture the wedding, they are not truly present when witnessing the wedding, instead looking at it through their camera, phone or tablet.

The video, posted two days ago, has had, at the time of writing, 2.2 million views, 30,000 shares and has attracted 9,000 comments.
