Bachelor host Osher Gunsberg and his new bride Audrey Griffen have been given an unusual wedding present, but for a good cause.

The pair who were married over the Christmas/New Year period in a secret ceremony in New South Wales’ Hunter Valley,  have returned from their honeymoon to Japan to find out that they’ve had two camels named after them.

They’re not any old camels. They were rescued by animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) from a circus in India.

Osher and Audrey the humans are vegans and lovers of animals.

Their dog Frankie the Cavoodle, who is an Instagram star in his own right, was the ring bearer at their wedding.

One from our wedding – @audreygriffen and I had @frankie_thecavoodle be the ring bearer. Yes, we did. It was awesome.

Ashley Fruno from PETA Australia said “We hope Osher Gunsberg and Audrey Griffen’s future together will be as joyous as that of their camel namesakes who will never again be forced to perform confusing tricks or endure neglect and mistreatment.”
