If you love the ocean so much, why don’t you just marry it? I mean get married in it?

Ocean lovers in the west can now get married at a unique location  – the Aquarium of Western Australia (AQWA)  has redeveloped its Stingray Bay tank to be a wedding ceremony venue called Sunset Lagoon.

Not only does the tank of marine life provide a stunning ceremony backdrop, but according to Perth Now couples can even get married underwater if they want to.

If getting drenched on the big day seems like a drag, couples who want to create stunning images can choose to have an underwater portrait session in their wedding gear at a later time if they’d prefer.

The Sunset Lagoon ceremony location is available to couples who are holding their reception at the AQWA function centre which features stunning views of the Indian Ocean and Hillarys Marina.
