If you’ve got more than $2 million to drop on a wedding dress, this stunning creation from designer Reem Acra could be for you.

Reem has launched her Spring 2018 bridal collection – a collaboration with iconic jeweler Tiffany & Co – as part of Bridal Fashion Week in New York.

The show-stopper in her collection was a gown that’s valued at $2.14 million AUD – embroidered with Tiffany diamond drop earrings, giant butterflies and dragonfly brooches.  All up the dress has 165 carats of diamonds and 61.91 carats of other gemstones.

The dress is part of Reem Acra’s 20th anniversary collection.

According to the designer’s Insta account: “what started as a single gown inspired by the 180-year-old house soon morphed into an entire collection, a mix of classically bridal white options and all-black eveningwear (that could be ordered in white for the aisle) as an ode to Holly and Hepburn.”

Our 20th anniversary collection inspired by @tiffanyandco, seen through @harpersbazaarus: what started as a single gown inspired by the 180-year-old house soon morphed into an entire collection, a mix of classically bridal white options and all-black eveningwear (that could be ordered in white for the aisle) as an ode to Holly and Hepburn. Sketched, conceptualized and developed with frequent visits to the store and access to the brand's archives, Acra turned to the finest and most iconic pieces for inspiration, namely The Tiffany Diamond, a 128.54 carat canary diamond set on a strand of more than 100 carats of white diamonds, prominently placed in the store's entrance and no longer available for sale.
