A replica of a stunning wedding gown made entirely from cake and icing is the centre-piece in an exhibit in London, and people are raving about it.
Cake-maker Emma Jayne Cake Design replicated the iconic “Angela” gown by designer Mak Tumang as part of a display called “Wedding Gowns Through the Ages” at the Cake International competition at Alexandra Palace.
Emma Jayne made a life-sized replica of Mak Tumang’s stunning organza grey and pink ball gown with floral appliques, entirely through sugar craft techniques.

This is the actual Mak Tumang gown:
We first shared Filipino designer @maktumang’s #weddinggowns on Facebook and Instagram last April and, till today, we still frequently receive messages from #brides all over the world asking us where they can find his creations. #MakTumang studied interior design before delving into fashion in the #Philippines. His love of opulent costumes and architecture influences his designs and this can be seen in his gowns which are rich in elaborate detail. Pop over to tws.link/my for the full feature.
If you want to get your hands on one, unfortunately it is no longer for sale on Mak Tumang’s website.
