Pics have surfaced from the wedding of tennis champion Rafael Nadal, who married his partner of 13 years, Mery Perello, in a lavish ceremony on the Spanish island of Mallorca on the weekend.

Spain’s former King Juan Carlos I and his wife, Queen Sofia, were among the guests at the 17th-Century fortress La Fortaleza, rumoured to be worth around $60 million Australian.

Pics were shared on Insta by Mery’s wedding dress designer, Rosa Clara, who said the gown was “an exquisitely clean-lined haute couture design”.

She also said: “The bodice, with jewel neckline and long sleeves, was made of beautiful Art Deco-inspired French lace with delicate patterning, flower motifs and micro beading on the meticulously hand-embroidered fabric”.

The dress featured a silk crepe ballgown-style skirt and a weightless detachable train.
